  2. Now cut off the closed end of the prong and slightly cut the corners to create a cross-shaped opening.
  3. Do the same on the opposite side. Later, the individual pages are put together to create the typical strawberry shape.
  4. From the flat part of the egg carton, cut the leaves for the egg carton strawberry garland.
  5. Paint the cut spikes red, the leaves will turn green.

  8. Allow all painted parts to dry completely.
  9. Hot glue the open sides of the strawberries together to create a slightly round strawberry shape.
  10. Then glue the leaves to the strawberries. Tipp: Bend the leaves slightly with your fingers for a more natural look.
  11. Cut a sufficiently long piece of jute twine.

  12. First glue a strawberry to the string and then attach alternating strawberries and leaves at equal distances. Repeat this step until all elements are in place.
  13. When the glue has dried, you can hang the egg carton strawberry garland – in the children’s room, on the window or as a summer decoration for a celebration.

If you use a light pink or dark purple instead of red paint, you can make a garland with raspberries or blackberries in the same way.
