Ollie’s Test Results

I went with the Premium test, which shows everything, and found it very informative.

Two studio photos of a small mixed-breed dog, one in profile licking its nose and one facing forward, wearing a collar with colorful tags.

When Ollie joined our family, we were told she was a shorkie, part Shih-tzu and Yorkshire, so I was excited to see her results!

Do you have any guesses?

She is a shorkie! No real surprise there, but I loved that they share her family tree. That is so cool!

I was also aware of her relatives and their locations. Most are within 100 miles, but one is in the UK!

These relatives are from others who have been tested through Wisdom Panel.

Two genetic conditions were detected. I am glad to know what to look out for regarding her health because I want her to be around as long as possible.

The report provides detailed information on these conditions and what I should do about them.

Identifying the behavioral traits Ollie was likely to exhibit was my favorite part.

How do you know she is likely to sploot? She does it all the time, and it makes me giggle, but how do you know? 😂
