Terrazzo is no longer just a trend for floors or home accessories – the speckled pattern also makes for exciting projects in the DIY sector. A particularly nice idea is terrazzo soap: small colored pieces of soap are incorporated into a light base and, when cut, create a colorful, mosaic-like pattern.
The production seems complicated at first glance, but it can be easily done with a little preparation. The most important thing is to first make the colored soap bars, which will later form the typical terrazzo chips.

The typical terrazzo look is created by small, irregular pieces of soap in different colors that are poured into a light soap base. When you cut the finished soap, the colorful pieces appear like small splinters of color.
So-called melt-and-pour soap is particularly suitable for this DIY. This can be easily melted, colored and poured into shapes – perfect for creative soap projects.
