Step-by-step instructions: Make paper roses from kitchen paper

1st step: Prepare kitchen paper

First, take three sheets of kitchen paper, place them on top of each other and fold them twice so that there is a square in front of you. Place a glass on top to draw a circle on the paper towel. Cut this out. There should now be 12 paper towel circles in front of you.

2nd step: Color kitchen paper circles

So that your roses don’t end up just white, color the circles now. Use either watercolor paint or a fiber pen. Use the latter to paint dots and lines on the circles and then spray them with water so that the color runs. Dab the watercolor paint onto the paper with enough water. Let everything dry thoroughly.

3rd step: Make paper roses out of kitchen paper

Separate the individual layers of paper towel circles from each other. Take a circle and stick the shish kebab skewer or thin branch through it. Place a dab of hot glue on the tip of the skewer and gently press the paper towel into place. Repeat this until you are satisfied with the shape of your paper rose.
