- Roughly clean the old football of dirt and grass residue.

- Take the craft knife and cut a hole in the top of the football. It should be big enough so that the pot with the flowers will fit in later, but not too big, otherwise the football will lose its shape.
- Check whether the pot fits in it.

- Then trim the edges cleanly again.
- Now your flower pot made from an old football is ready.
- If you want to make a hanging basket, cut three holes in the top of the cut edge.
- Shorten the stainless steel chain to the length of your choice. You need three chain sections of equal length.

- Thread the individual chains through the holes using the pliers.
- Now you can hang your football flower pot from a ceiling using the chains.
Water your plants as usual, but make sure to allow excess water to drain away. To do this, either poke a few holes in the bottom of the ball or place the plant on a saucer and pour out the water regularly.
