I don’t have a fireplace in this house, so the piano has taken on that role.
My absolute favorite part about this is these last-minute stockings I whipped up in under an hour! Seriously, aren’t they awesome?
My sister asked how I got them to stay up there…. I used a nail. I know I know… I hammered a nail into my piano.
It’s already pretty banged up, and it was free, if that makes it any better, and I can just use wood filler if I want.
But feel free to use your stocking holders instead of a nail. š
I wanted to pull the same elements from my Rustic Glam Christmas Tree, such as this Drop Cloth Tree Garland. That is how the stockings were born.
These drop-cloth stockings were made from scraps of the garland, but I made 5 for around $15!
Even though my tree isn’t real, I think it looks real, don’t you think?
That is why I chose a real greenery this year. I can’t believe this is the first time I have ever decorated for Christmas with REAL garland!
I ended up using Red Cedar Garland, and I am smitten! It smells so good, and it’s just beautiful!
