Make mini garden torches – this is how you start your project

Before you start making your mini garden torches, prepare all the materials and find a well-protected work surface. This way you can work cleanly and relaxed. At the same time, you can already think about how you would like to design your torches later.

Now it’s time to get to work: Using paint, a wooden stick and candle wax, you can create your individual mini torch step by step. And the best part – you can design each piece according to your taste.

  1. Spray the clay pot evenly with acrylic paint and let it dry thoroughly.

  2. Insert the wooden stick through the hole into the pot from below.

  3. Place a wax disc on top of the stick.

  4. Glue the wick in the middle of the wax plate.

  5. Attach the wooden stick to the bottom of the pot with hot glue to keep everything stable.
  6. Melt the candle wax and carefully pour it into the pot.

  7. Allow the wax to cool completely.
  8. Decorate the pot as desired with stamps, lettering or printed water slide film.

You can let your creativity run wild when making mini garden torches. For example, use metallic colors for an elegant look or paint small patterns on the pots. Alternatively, you can design the torches thematically, for example for garden parties or weddings. The mini torches also look really good as table decorations.
