This is what you need for your flower pot tower

• A large flower pot as a base
• 3 small flower pots (15 to 19 cm diameter)
• Bamboo pole 🛒 (ca. 70 cm lang)
• Hot glue
• A matching coaster
• High quality potting soil
• Flowers to plant
• Pebbles for better drainage (optional)

Build a flower pot tower step by step

1. Create the basis

Place the large flower pot on the saucer and fill it generously with potting soil. If you want, you can add a thin layer of pebbles to the bottom for optimal drainage. Then stick the bamboo pole firmly into the ground – it should be stable and not wobble.

2. Attach tiers

Now it gets exciting: Thread the small flower pots one after the other onto the bamboo pole by guiding them through the drainage hole in the bottom of the pot. Arrange them at different heights along the pole. Tipp: If the terracotta pots are too boring for you, you can of course paint them.

3. Fix and design

Tilt each small pot slightly to the side – this creates the characteristic tower look and your plants get optimal light. Apply hot glue generously to the point of contact between the edge of the pot and the bamboo stick and fix the position.

4. Plant and enjoy

Fill all the pots with soil and plant your chosen flowers. Hanging varieties such as petunias or bacopa look particularly spectacular!
