1.2 Then use a pencil to sketch the letter “I”, a heart and the letter “U” on the gold paper. Using a scalpel or craft knife, score the shapes halfway so that you can fold the gold paper to the side.

For this you need:

  • empty toilet paper roll
  • red color
  • white cardboard
  • black felt-tip pen

This is how it works:

2.1 Squeeze the toilet paper roll together to create a heart shape. Then dip one end of the roll into the red paint.

2.2 Stamp the heart shape on white cardboard.

2.3 Glue a cut-out photo to the cardboard and use a black felt-tip pen to draw lines on the photo so that it looks as if the hearts are balloons on ropes. Finally, attach a frame of your choice around the white cardboard.

For this you need:

  • Dough
  • Muffinform

3.1 Pour the dough into the paper muffin cups and decorate it with the sugar hearts.

3.2 Form a small ball and two small, narrower shapes out of aluminum foil. Place these shapes between the paper cases and the edge of the cavity so that the dough takes the shape of small hearts. Bake the muffins at the specified baking time.

4. Butterfly bags of candy

For this you need:

  • Zip bag
  • a sweet of your choice
  • Clothespin
  • Paint and brushes
  • Googly eyes
  • Pipe cleaners

4.1 Fill the candy into a zip-top bag, close it and fold the edge of the bag over once.

4.2 Paint a clothespin with paint and stick two googly eyes on it.

4.3 Place the clothespin in the middle of the filled zip bag and clip a pipe cleaner into the top of the clip. Roll the pipe cleaner slightly on each side so that it looks like a butterfly feeler. Great little gifts for Valentine's Day!

5. Chocolate heart

For this you need:

  • double-sided tape
  • Merci chocolate
  • Styrofoam heart
  • Rocher chocolates
  • red gift ribbon

This is how it works:

5.1 Stick the chocolate bars side by side on a long piece of double-sided adhesive tape.

5.2 Glue the ribbon and chocolate upright around the Styrofoam heart.

5.3 Also stick the Rocher chocolates on top of the Styrofoam heart using double-sided adhesive tape.

6. Tomato hearts

For this you need:

  • cocktail tomatoes
  • toothpick
  • Paper for Cupid's arrow

This is how it works:

6.1 Cut a third off each of two cocktail tomatoes at an angle so that you can put the two fruits together, creating a heart shape.

6.2 Fix the two tomato pieces with a toothpick. With the appropriately cut paper that you stick to the toothpick, it looks like Cupid's arrow.

7. Strawberry roses for the cocktail

For this you need:

  • Strawberries
  • wooden skewers
  • narrow red gift ribbon

For this you need:

  • yellow cardboard paper
  • red cardboard paper
  • colorful cardboard paper
  • Glue
  • a piece of thread
  • Thesa film

This is how it works:

8.1 Fold the yellow cardstock paper and cut a circle out of the top. Also cut out a heart from the red cardstock paper.

8.2 Apply a strip of glue in the middle of the red heart and stick the thread on it.

8.3 Glue the heart and the thread over the circle on the yellow cardboard using scotch tape.

8.5 Finally, cut out a piece of the colorful cardboard paper including a circle and glue it to the yellow cardboard paper. This will hide the thread. If you rotate the heart several times before putting the card in an envelope, it will also rotate when you take it out. A real eye-catcher!
